Rocky Mountain Steel Rod/Bar Mill products

Products from the Rod and Coiled Reinforcing Bar Mill are used in a variety of applications.

High carbon, tensile refined grades are made into wire rope (electrical and crane cables, drill and drag lines), pre-stressed strand (bridges and parking structures, high rise buildings), tire bead and cord, rail tie wire, and upholstery-grade spring.

Medium carbon products include cold heading quality and lacing wire grades.

Low carbon rod products are used for welding wire (S-3 & S-6), woven fence, garment hangers and stucco netting.

Coiled Reinforcing Bar products are used in the construction market in highways, bridges and commercial and industrial building foundations.
