The Oregon Steel Rolling Mill is the only plate mill in the Western United States and adjacent Western Canadian Provinces. It is also the first plate mill in North America to be ISO 9002 certified, the international standard for quality management. Its location near the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers gives deep-water access to the world and easy access to all Class 1 railroads and trucking routes serving North America.

Starting with only the highest quality slabs, the Rolling Mill, located in Portland, Oregon, produces a wide range of products on one of the most powerful plate mills in the world and has an annual capacity of up to 1.2 million tons.

With the unique capability to produce both discrete plate and coil in both custom and standard sizes, it offers our customers excellent quality in a full range of sizes and specifications.

Finished products include hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel plate, hot-rolled coil, heat- treated plate, shot-blasted and primed plate, temper-passed cut-to-length plate and plate coil.

These products are used in a vast range of applications including bridges, buildings, freeway overpasses, ships, barges, shipping containers, railroad cars, heavy trucks and trailers, poles and towers, pipe and tube, armored vehicles, pressure vessels and storage tanks, mining equipment, machine parts, construction equipment and many more.
