Corporate Officers

  • Michael T. Rehwinkel – Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Rehwinkel joined Evraz Inc. NA as Chief Executive Officer in 2010. Before coming to Evraz, he spent 10 years with Georgia-Pacific; as President of Wood Products since 2006 and before that as Senior Vice President, heading up their packaging division beginning in 2003. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of packaging company Pactiv LLC, and from 1977-1997, in general management, finance and accounting positions at International Paper Company. Mr. Rehwinkel holds an accounting degree from William Carey University and completed Duke University’s Advanced Management Program.

  • Glenda Minor - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

    Ms. Minor joined Evraz Inc. NA as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2010. Previously, she served as Vice President of Finance and Controller of global automotive supplier, Visteon Corporation. Before joining Visteon in 2000, Ms. Minor was finance director for product development finance at DaimlerChrysler, a position she held since 1996. She began her career with management positions at General Motors and General Dynamics Corporation. Ms. Minor holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern University in Louisiana, and a master’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University.

  • Jennifer R. Murray - Senior Vice President, Organization & Change Management

    Ms. Murray joined the company in 1997 as Assistant Corporate Controller, Financial Systems. She later served as Director of Administration, and Vice President Administration and Corporate Secretary. Prior experience includes financial management and accounting positions at Newell Company and Republic Steel. Ms. Murray is a graduate of Grove City College.

  • Michael Garcia - Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Supply Chain

    Mr. Garcia has vast industry experience, previously serving as a Regional Vice President for Gerdau Ameristeel and holding several operations management and commercial positions with Alcoa. He also spent 5 years as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army, finishing up as a Squadron Local Purchase Officer in support of Operations Desert Storm. Mr. Garcia earned his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard.

  • Marshall Hamilton - Vice President, Employee Relations & Talent Management

    Mr. Hamilton joined the Company in 2006, serving as Director of Industrial Relations and later as Senior Director of Human Resources for Evraz's Canadian operations. He was appointed to his present position in 2010. Mr. Hamilton has more than 25 years of human resources experience in various industries including mining, forestry, government and steel. He is a graduate of Yale University.

  • Scott J. Montross - Executive Vice President, Flat Rolled Products

    Mr. Montross came to EOSM in 2003 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, he was employed by National Steel Corporation from 1987-1993 and 1996-2003, the most recent position being Vice President of Marketing and Sales. From 1993-1996, he was Regional Sales Manager for Mitsubishi International. Mr. Montross is a graduate of Colgate University.

  • Robert A. Simon - Executive Vice President, Tubular Products

    Mr. Simon has been with the company since 1992, starting as an Industrial Engineer. He later served as Manager of Business Processes, Manager of Environmental Services and Operations, and Vice President and General Manager - Rocky Mountain Steel Mills. Previously, Mr. Simon was Plant Manager for Matthews International and Oregon Brass Works. Mr. Simon is a graduate of West Virginia University.

Divisional Officers

  • Miles Brittain – Vice President & General Manager of Evraz Claymont Steel

    Mr. Brittain joined Oregon Steel in 2004 as Manager of Technical Services and became Director of Operations at that facility in 2007. Prior to joining Evraz, he worked at National Steel Corporate where he took on roles of increasing responsibility culminating in his appointment as the Regional Director of Quality Assurance. Mr. Brittain is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering.

  • Jim Clarke - Vice President, Tubular Operations

    Mr. Clarke oversees North American tubular operations. Previously, Mr. Clarke was the Director of Canadian Tubular Products for IPSCO, which he joined in 1981. He was appointed to his current position upon the Evraz acquisition of the former IPSCO Canadian facilities. Mr. Clarke is a graduate of the University of Regina.

  • Bruce Iredale - Vice President & General Manager of Evraz Oregon Steel

    Mr. Iredale joined Oregon Steel in 1990 as a management trainee and took on roles of increasing responsibility before becoming Superintendent of Finishing and Shipping in 2004. Prior to joining the company, he worked at a large producer of food products in various supervisory roles. Mr. Iredale is a graduate of Oregon State University where he received both an undergraduate degree in science, as well as his MBA.

  • Larry R. Lawrence - Vice President, Large Diameter Tubular Sales

    Mr. Lawrence joined the company’s Napa Pipe Mill in 1987 as Manager of Property Development. In 1990 he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager and was named Vice President and General Manager of Napa Pipe in 1994, then Vice President of Tubular Sales in 2002. Mr. Lawrence is a graduate of Sacramento State University.

  • Greg Maindonald - Vice President and General Manager, Evraz Regina Steel

    Mr. Maindonald has overall responsibility for the Regina steelmaking operations, including scrap sourcing, logistic, transportation and procurement. Mr. Maindonald joined IPSCO in 1974 and held positions in primary operations, inventory and production planning, sales administration, procurement, transportation and information technology. He was appointed to his current position upon the Evraz acquisition of the former IPSCO Canadian facilities. Mr. Maindonald holds a Bachelors Honours Degree from Brock University and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business.

  • Jim Mitchell - Vice President, Sales, ERW Products

    Mr. Mitchell oversees tubular sales and marketing in North America. Mr. Mitchell joined the company in 1990 as a project metallurgist and progressed into the commercial area 7 years later as Sales Manager of the Camrose Pipe facility. He brings extensive experience to this position spending the last 13 years in sales and in leadership roles. Mr. Mitchell has a B.A.Sc in Metallurgical Engineering from Queen’s University. He also achieved his MBA from Queen’s.

  • George Schleining - Vice President and General Manager of Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel

    Mr. Schleining began his career with Rocky Mountain Steel in 1993 as Manager of the Rod and Bar Mill. He became Director of Operations in 2000. His experience in the steel industry is extensive, having worked in a number of maintenance and management roles in a career that has spanned more than 3 decades. Mr. Schleining is currently an active member of the Steel Manufacturers Association and has led many leadership, safety and equipment seminars throughout his career. He is also a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served two tours of duties in the late 60's.
