On January 12, 2007 over 90% of the outstanding shares of common stock of Oregon Steel Mills, Inc. (NYSE: OS) were acquired for $63.25 in a successful tender offer, and on January 23, 2007, Evraz Group S.A. completed its acquisition via a “short-form” merger of Oregon Steel with Evraz’s wholly owned subsidiary Oscar Acquisition Merger Sub, Inc. On March 23, 2007 the name of the surviving corporation was changed to Evraz Inc. NA, Inc.
