Our founder William G. Gilmore believed in generously supporting our communities, and the foundation created in his name continues to support that belief.

On our behalf and at our request, the Gilmore Foundation contributes to local humanitarian and children's charities, medical centers, museums, arts and educational programs, and more.

Our employees are also involved in many charitable causes and are active members of the local business community. And our facilities have received community involvement awards for their generous support of local causes.

    which provides high-quality programming to Oregon and Southwest Washington. We fund the broadcast of NOVA, an educational science program.

  • St. Mary’s Home for Boys,

    which offers residential treatment and services to at-risk boys.

    an educational/charitable organization founded to provide permanent care for significant archives and artifacts from Colorado’s early steel industry.

  • Boys & Girls Clubs,

    an organization dedicated to helping young people realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

  • YMCA Family Crisis Shelter and YMCA Community Campus,

    a non-profit community service organization created to meet the health and human service needs of men, women and children in the community.

  • Historic Arkansas River Project (HARP),

    which beautified downtown Pueblo with a new Riverwalk. We funded the construction of the steel pedestrian bridge across the river.
